Howdy, I just got to start working on a new site, www.motivational.com. It’s gone unused by my company, and I’m taking a look at doing something with it. It gets about 20 hits a day just sitting there with some barebones HTML. Also the site for iPad kiosks is going well over at Archelon Enclosures.

Breast Cancer Support Jewelry – 2Embrace
There is a really nice way to show your support and stay connected with someone going through treatment for breast cancer. The jewelry at 2embrace.org allows you to wear 1 half of the pendant while the person going through breast cancer therapy wears the other half. You can buy the jewelry in different combinations so everyone in the family can wear a part. You could use this for anyone going through cancer treatment as it doesn’t specify breast cancer on the jewelry.

iTour Interactive Floor Plans

When I’m not playing games like Frontierville online, I may be at my real job where I make interactive real-estate kiosks. These include interactive floorplans, siteplans and area maps. I updated the website today so it was more geared toward the interactive floorplans rather than the 3D renderings and animations to target where there seems to be more business lately. We are currently working on a version for the iPad.
Addicted to Frontierville
Posted by admin in Facebook Gaming, Frontierville on June 28th, 2010
About a week and 1/2 ago I started playing Frontierville on facebook. As of today I’m up to level 24. I’m pretty addicted to it despite it’s numerous glitches and annoying popups. I’ve added about 40 new friends off the various add links and most of them are pretty productive. I spend more time levelling up then stressing on finishing tasks and it seems to be working out. I have 2 people on my list with higher levels. Quite a few of the friends I’ve added play Farmville, Castle Age, or Cafe World and now I’ve been able to expand them with all the new friends.

If google doesn’t already know enough about you, you can google DNS, then they can track EVERYTHING you do online. If you have the google tool bar, they can track everywhere you go in your browser already. But if you use the google DNS it will track all your applications that access the internet.

Sending Texts from Email
Posted by admin in email tips, Uncategorized on April 7th, 2009
I was actually looking up how to do different things with SMS (Short Message System) and how they interact with web pages and came across a way to send a text from an email. The only trick is you need to know the carrier.
So go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_gateways#Carrier_Provided_Email_or_Web_to_SMS_gateways
and scroll down to
Carrier-Provided E-Mail or Web to SMS Gateways.
My text address with this method is 8585555555@vtext.com it looks like sending a picture through MMS is number@vmpix.com. I popped open gMail and sent myself a short little email.
For the most part if you want to email someone a texts on a regular basis you’ll have to have them look it up, but for everyone in a family on the same plan that would be easy.
